SAN Systems hires two new SEs

SAN Systems has boosted its technical credentials with the appointment of two new Sales Engineers. Daniel De Pasquale has joined the SAN Systems team as Sales Engineer based in Melbourne, and Darryl Harrison is the new SAN Systems Sales Engineer in Brisbane. Between them they bring more than 25 years experience in the IT industry to the DC team, with a particular focus on storage solutions. They follow an increase in account management resources with recent appointments in Melbourne and Canberra.

DC partners with SCCS to help HeartKids VIC

Distribution Central has donated iPads to HeartKids Victoria for children suffering from heart disease. DC Executive Chairman, Scott Frew, recently visited the hospital and met with one of the children who received an iPad. “One of our [HeartKids’] team members found that this type of technology can drive real benefit for the kids in helping them keep up to date with their school work, which is very important in trying to shield them from as many negative, consequential impacts of their disease as possible,” said Terry Hopkins, CEO of HeartKids Victoria. Chris Palmer, Director at Southern Cross Computer Systems, originally reached out to DC on behalf of HeartKids, after experiencing the support of HeartKids VIC first hand.
