• An upgrade is a shift from the current version of Acronis software to a newer one.
• An update is a newer build of Acronis software of the same version.

AMPS Licence Number

The Acronis Maintenance and Priority Support (AMPS) licence number is required to verify that you are eligible.  The Acronis Maintenance and Priority Support (AMPS) license number consists of 25 symbols split in 5 blocks: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX, and is included on  your licensing document sent in PDF  format.
