Acronis® Backup & Recovery™ 10 Server for Linux simplifies and automates
backup and disaster recovery processes of Linux servers, minimizing downtime
and increasing IT productivity. Based on patented disk imaging and bare metal
restore technologies, this product is the next generation of Acronis® True Image.
It provides small organizations a simple, cost-effective solution to locally manage
backup and restore activities on stand-alone Linux Servers.
Fast restore of OS and data to meet Recovery Time Objectives
With Acronis Backup & Recovery 10, the contents of an entire hard drive including
the operating system, applications and data can be fully recovered in minutes,
instead of hours or days, replacing the usually tedious recovery process with a
fast, reliable way for organizations to meet strict Recovery Time Objectives (RTO)
and save costs associated with server downtime.
Intuitive user interface for ease of use by IT personnel and novices
Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 provides an intuitive interface, making it easy to install,
and quick to configure and deploy. Its graphical user interface (GUI) makes backup
and recovery simple for both IT personnel and novices, with no external support
required, saving time and resources. In addition, a dashboard provides an overview of
the configured and running operations on the system, for enhanced monitoring.
Advanced backup scheduling with policy-based management
Backup plans can be developed according to a company’s policy and the
importance of the servers. The scheduled tasks will be launched systematically
in the background without disruption of service, keeping the critical data safely
protected. In addition, backup can be triggered based on preset events and
conditions such as the addition of a large volume of data to the system.
Advanced backup scheduling with policy-based management
Enhanced archive validation, data encryption as well as dual destination backup
provides a high level of protection and security for the mission-critical server
backups. Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 supports a wide array of storage devices
and location including local attached disk, Network Attached Storage (NAS),
Storage Area Network (SAN), FTP server, optical devices and tapes, as well as the
