NetApp sells and supports 4Gb Fibre Channel switches, directors and routers from Brocade, Cisco and QLogic. Backward compatible to 1Gb and 2Gb FC environments, the models range from entry-level eight-port fabric switches to 528-port directors and address the needs of small departments to large data center deployments.
Fabric switches typically serve workgroup, departmental, and enterprise-edge environments. Fabric switches provided by NetApp deliver highly redundant configuration capabilities, advanced zoning and access control, and robust diagnostics and management.
